Our main act of worship at St John’s is the Sunday Morning Mass, which is celebrated at 11am and lasts about an hour. Here we hear God’s word in the Bible read and explained to us, sing his praises in the words of the great hymns, pray for the world around us and one another, and receive Jesus himself in the sacrament of his body and blood, which he gave us for the forgiveness of our sins. Mass concludes with tea and coffee and the opportunity to stop and chat with other members of the congregation. There is also a play area for those with young children.
